Event description

Description

This event benefits all hurricane victims. The entire proceeds to be donated to American Red Cross. Suggested minimum donation is $20 in lieu of tickets. If you want you can donate more at the venue.

India has a very vibrant street food scene. It's a veritable street food festival every day! Lassi, Dosai, Idli, Masala Chai, Chicken and PaneerTikka and masalas; chutneys, biryanis and kara vadai. All visitors to India are greeted by a quite astonishing display of roadside snacks throughout the country: from the teeming lanes of Old Delhi to the hot South. All your senses will be made aware by the smells and sights and tastes of these roadside foods, prepared in front of customers' eyes with the freshest ingredients and a generous helping of panache and showmanship.

Mithra along with Olive Tree and the help of some of her friends is going to try to recreate that in her backyard - summer's last hurrah with an Indian Street food scene. Of course, they will all be low-carb versions of the street food and very healthy for you to indulge in. All proceeds to be donated to the American Red Cross for Hurricanes relief. Please invite your friends and enjoy the food festival!

Kids under 12 are free! We will also have a TV with the Chiefs game for all Chiefs Fans.

Dr. Latha Venkatesh of Happy Brains Academy will be on-hand to provide and demonstrate yummy brain healthy snacks for kids that kids love to eat. Eating right helps kids attain their potential and also prevents ADHD.
