The LOGOS Program emphasizes building Christian relationships while building Disciples of Jesus Christ. In an engaging, hands-on environment, children and youth will be led through 4 modules each evening: Bible Study, Worship Arts, Recreation, and Family Time (meal time). This engaging format will include parental/ guardian involvement, and a commitment from the Church to be engaged in the life and faith-growth of each child. This growth will happen in a safe, Christian environment, filled with the Love of Christ. The program is a tried and tested one, with curriculum that is easy to implement and well received by the kids. Ove the course of the years of the program, children will learn the basics of the faith, what it means to trust in Jesus, and a comprehensive understanding of God and the Bible. Being taught in this way, the whole church is engaged and invested in helping the kids grow- we all will grow and be enriched as each child learns to love the Lord more and more.
There will also be an adult study as part of the program- so the adults will do Bible/Program Study and Family Time (meal time). Classes for adults will be interest based, and we will offer a limited schedule of them during this pilot project.
This is a pilot implementation of LOGOS. LOGOS will happen in the fall as a full 24-week schedule which will track the traditional school calendar most of our families are using. We will also have a fuller slate of adult classes to compliment that schedule.
The costs for the program for this pilot project:
-$20/ first student in the family- to include all 6 meals, as well as program costs.
-$35/ total for all the children in a family if there is more than 1 child.
-$4/ meal for every adult in the program (not include table parents, as that is their area of service).
(A limited number of need-based scholarships will be available. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to apply.)
ALONG WITH THE COST, there will be a MANDATORY Parent/Guardian meeting on January 15. at 5pm.
Registration is due by then. To register, simply select the first Sunday's date, and purchase the ticket. If you wish to purchase the ticket from the Church, you can reserve your ticket by emailing email@example.com. All fees for those registrations will need to be in by the Parent Meeting on January 15.)
(The Registration is for 7 weeks- but we take a mid-program break the evening of 3/5/2017- thus, 6 weeks.
Also, we will celebrate the LOGOS program during our regular 11am worship service on April 2nd, and hope all participants will be here then to celebrate, as especially because their Worship Arts projects will be utilized then!)
