In celebration of our Log Cabin bottle release this year, we're having a party called Log Cabin Day!

Log Cabin Day is a stout-forward breakfast beer festival to commemorate the release of Log Cabin, one of our fan-favorite Bourbon Barrel Aged Stouts!

Both Log Cabin & Log Cabin w/ Coffee will both be on tap, along with some special rare stouts and of course some of our other fan favorite stouts from our cellar. The special occasion will also see a variety of ways to enjoy Log Cabin beyond the taps... from Log Cabin infused ice cream, to slushies, to syrup! So bring your thirst and appetite, and join us for a day of lumberjack fun.



Here are all the party details:

Date: June 1st, 2019

Location: 9030 Kenamar Dr. #308, San Diego, CA 92121. We'll be blocking off part of the parking lot for the party!

Time: 9am - 12pm. Beer garden will be open afterwards from 12pm - 5pm for the general public.

Rare Beers: Full Tap list coming soon, however these beers will ONLY be available during the 9-12 timeframe for event attendees.

Food & Sweets: Eat Your Heart Out Food Truck will be on site making Log Cabin breakfast specialties, Scoops On Tap will be making Log Cabin infused ice cream (as well as other flavors), and we will be making beer slushies. *More details on the actual below in the FAQ section, check it out!

Charity Raffle: Raffle prizes include merchandise, Phoenix Lux bottles and more + 100% of raffle ticket purchases will be donated to Surfrider San Diego.


Tickets will be $20 per person (of which $1 is donated directly to our non-profit charity), and will include the following:
-General Admission & Access to Rare, Cellared Stouts & Beers
-Limited Edition Glassware (see above)
-Beer tokens
-Raffle ticket
-First access to Cellar Sale (cellared bottles available for sale)

After the 9am - 12pm party, we will continue pouring beers outside in a Beer Garden which will be open to the public till 5pm!

What is Log Cabin Day?

-Log Cabin Day is a stout-forward breakfast beer festival to commemorate the release of Log Cabin, one of our fan-favorite Bourbon Barrel Aged Stouts! Log Cabin is a Bourbon Barrel aged Imperial Stout with Organic Cocoa and Maple Syrup, and we also make a variant with coffee. It only comes out once a year.

Log Cabin Day will feature both variants of Log Cabin on Tap along with featured rare stouts and beers from the cellar, as well as breakfast themed food made with beer, maple syrup and more.


Do I Need To Buy Tickets To Buy The Bottles?

-Nope, you can either buy a ticket to the party, or buy bottles of Log Cabin (2 variants available), or come to the party AND buy bottles. It is up to you! You can start picking up bottles at 9am on June 1st if you are attending the party and at 12pm on June 1st if you are not attending the party. The pickup window for bottles runs through June 9th.

What Does The Ticket To Log Cabin Day Include?

Do I have To Attend The Party To Pick up The Bottles?

- No, the bottle pickup window runs June 1st-9th, so if you cannot attend the party, you can pick up anytime during normal business hours during that window.


What Log Cabin Merchandise Will Be Available?

- We have a very limited run of:

    • Specialty Gold Print Log Cabin Glassware (see above)

    • Limited Edition Breakfast Stout Mugs

    • Limited Edition Lumberjack Hats

    • 2019 Log Cabin Day shirts available for the event.

What is The Deal With The Raffle?

- Everyone who purchases a ticket to Log Cabin day gets an entry into the raffle. You will also have the ability to purchase additional tickets and 100% of the proceeds benefit San Diego Surfrider. Prizes will include merchandise, Phoenix Lux Bottles, gift cards and more!

How many Bottles of Phoenix Lux are Available in The Raffle?

- There are 2 bottles up for grabs in the raffle, and remember, all proceeds benefit San Diego Surfrider!

How Early can I get there?

- We will begin pre-check in at 8am and you will be able to purchase food in the waiting area after check-in!


What is the Beer Garden after Log Cabin Day about?

- Since Log Cabin day runs from 9am-12pm, and we will have the beer garden there all day, we’ve decided to let people hang out in the beer garden after the event is over and enjoy the day. The Beer Garden is open to the public and will run from 12-5 and we will be closed for the day at 7pm. NOTE: The rare beers will only be available during the actual event, so if you want to taste the rare and cellared beers, you would need to come to the actual Log Cabin Day Event.

What Kind of Food Will Be Available?

-We are taking you beyond the glass at Log Cabin Day giving you opportunities to experience beer in food both savory and sweet throughout the day including a Log Cabin Maple Syrup for tasting!

Eat Your Heart Out is our first food truck coming out exclusively for Log Cabin Day from 9am - 12pm. The basis for their menu is working with local farms to incorporate seasonal ingredients for an ever changing, always fresh offering. A lot of synergy between their mission and ours so it’s great to be able to have them attend.


Some items they will be making for Log Cabin Day include:

  • French Toast Sticks to pair with our Imperial Stout syrup drizzled on top

  • Maple infused Bacon for breakfast burritos

  • Carnitas marinated in Murk of The Beast IPA


Scoops on Tap will be here all day preparing a Beer Infused Ice Cream experience with Log Cabin and Log Cabin Coffee as well as some of our other beers. Full Flavor list to come!

BBA Imperial Stout w/ Cocoa & Maple Syrup
14% ABV

A rich and decadent Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels. Breckenridge Distillery Bourbon barrels impart a warming bourbon aroma and subtle barrel notes to create a deep flavor complexity. These initial characteristics then meld with the organic cocoa and organic maple syrup additions to create a subtly smooth and dangerously drinkable beer. This beer hints towards lazy days in a cozy log cabin with a smoldering fire and the smell of charred pine and fresh rain wafting through the air. Enjoy the woods!

BOTTLE RELEASE TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Starting Tuesday, 5/14/19, you will be able to purchase tickets good for up to 4 bottles of LOG CABIN, up to 4 bottles of LOG CABIN W/ COFFEE.

You will be able to pick up bottles at Pure Project (9030 Kenamar Dr. #308 San Diego, CA 92121) between 9am on 6/1/2019 through 6/9/19.

Unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to either the bottle limit or the pick-up window.

Must be 21 to purchase/pickup and all PROXIES must also be over 21 and the ID must match the name added as proxy at checkout.

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR BOTTLES:
To claim your bottles, you or your proxy will need to show ID proving that you are (1) both over 21 years of age and that (2) the name on the ticket order matches your ID. Again, please only purchase tickets if you are 100% sure that you can pick up the bottles within the pickup window stated multiple times above. There are no exceptions.

Pure Project WILL NOT ship bottles. The bottles must be claimed from the Pure Project tap room (9030 Kenamar Dr. #308 San Diego, CA 92121) within the pickup window of Saturday 6/1/2019 through Sunday 6/9/19. NO REFUNDS: Due to demand for bottles, Pure Project will not issue refunds. All sales are final. That said, we are big on customer service, so should you not be fully satisfied with a bottle, simply email bottles@purebrewing.org and let us know.

RELEASE PARTY DETAILS:
You must purchase a Log Cabin Party Ticket to attend the event on June 1st. The date of the party is Saturday 6/1/2019 from 9am-12pm in the tap room at Pure Project. Bottles purchased without an event ticket can be picked up starting from Saturday, 6/1/2019 from 12pm through Sunday 6/9/19.
