MCSC Program Demonstration

Our new partnership with the Michigan Community Service Commission has allowed us the opportunity to offer new resources to our chapters! We welcome Kristina Coby from the MCSC to demonstrate use of a website created specifically to track community service hours, and promote projects to outside volunteers. Presidents and chapter leadership welcome!

Group Membership Training:

Welcome to the Team! Join the 2020 Membership Vice President and Directors as we dive into the mission of JCI to find the answers to commonly asked questions. What is the true benefit of your JCI Membership? What is our brand? How do we communicate that brand with potential members? Who are these potentials anyway and how do we recruit them?! Membership is everyone’s responsibility, and EVERYONE can participate.Join us to find out how!

Programming 101 -

Are you curious how to manage your chapter, keep developing as a leader, and make a bigger impact in your community? Join the 2020 Programming Team as they lay down the brickwork to help you Pave the Programming Way for your home chapter. This is open to all members during group sessions.

Paving the Programming Way -

Join the 2020 Programming Team as they lay down the groundwork of management, individual development, and community opportunities for your chapter. As a local board member in 2020, it'll be up to you to join fellow board members in understanding areas of opportunities and how to fit them into the big picture of your chapter.

Membership Breakout: We recruited someone… now what?
During this session, we will take a closer look at the activation and retention tools that JCI has to offer. Jaycee Member, chapter plans, passports, incentives, 30-20-90 programs, membership drives and
events? It is a lot of paperwork and can seem quite overwhelming. Luckily, MVP Carol and the Directors are here to help! We will take a look at these documents to discuss the importance of these programs
and how to implement them in your chapter. We will also storm our brains for new ideas to make membership an integral part of all chapter events. Anyone who is passionate about growing our
organization is invited!

Secretary Training with Jennifer Baker:

We will go over the roles and responsibilities, best practices, and suggested resources. I will also make time to take questions and help folks get ready to start the year off right!

Program Management Guide (PMG) Training - Trainer: Angela M. Clock, JCI Senator 77720

Part of being an active citizen includes the ability to plan and execute projects in our communities. Luckily, we have a resource called the Program Management Guide (or more commonly referred to as the PMG). During this training, we'll review why the guide is useful, and go step by step through planning a project with the PMG.

Lunch - we will have Jimmy John's boxed lunch available. Please make your selections as you order.
