Event description

Description

Do identity politics help marginalized groups get some much-needed R-E-S-P-E-C-T? Or does it unintentionally hurt men of color (and the women who love them)? Do identity politics help marginalized groups break through barriers to become who we are or does it sometimes hide what’s most unique about who we are? We’ll figure all this out in 60 minutes, no big deal.

Appetizers on us, drinks (and additional food) available for your purchase.

Use those daring notions that brought you to this page to bust out a tune (maybe even one from a musical artist with identities different than your own!) to stick around after for karaoke at 7:00!

We are incredibly grateful to be able to present this with on-going support from: The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation through the Community Foundation of North Florida and the National Endowment for the Humanities through the Florida Humanities Council.
