The annual Local Authors Expo held at the Central Library will showcase Alabama authors, including many from the Birmingham area. This year's free event will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Authors will be on hand to discuss their work, sell and autograph books, and talk about their writing process.

Registration is $50. This fee is for local authors, publishers and literary organizations who wish to show, share, and sell their work. Registration includes a table reservation and snacks from our complimentary hospitality room. There are two authors per table. You must be registered to participate. Snacks will be provided for registered authors only. You will need to bring your own supplies if you plan to setup a table, which begins at 8 a.m. Registration ends August 1st and is non-refundable.
