ABSTRACT

Jeffrey Landau and Yara Nagi of AGRITECTURE will bring their knowledge of the spectrum of urban and peri-urban agriculture models to discuss how new scenario analysis tools can help cities understand the potential impact of strategies to make cities more resilient through data-driven agriculture planning, management, and distribution. Participants will gain an understanding of the key global drivers impacting local food systems, and the multiple pathways through which urban and peri-urban farms can improve urban resilience, create jobs and provide fresh food to residents who need it most.
