About this event
Tickets include roundtrip transportation from the PedEast border crossing, bilingual tour hosts, full lobster lunch with drink and robust wine tastings at two of our favorite Valle de Guadalupe wineries. At our second winery enjoy a special dish compliments of top chef, Iker Turcott.
Valle de Guadalupe has become one of the most high-flying tourist destinations in recent years thanks to its spectacular landscapes, vineyards, dreamy sunsets, and excellent gastronomy offered by its restaurants and wine houses. What's more, it's under two hours distance from San Diego!
Take a breath from your daily routine and join us on this refreshing Day-Trip to a magical destination!
Our transportation vehicles are 18 person Mercedes Benz vans or the 40 person Tour Bus! We meet you on the USA side of PedEast and we walk to our transportation that is waiting for us when we cross into Mexico.
The tour is super scenic and enjoyable! There are parking lots where we meet for $10 - $20 per day.
Our itinerary starts at 9:30 am when our staff greet you at the border with waters included on the bus for hydration.
Our first stop is a delicious lobster brunch/early-lunch in Puerto Nuevo on the Baja coast at 10:50 am. Taste Baja's traditional flavors with a plate of fresh lobster, beans, rice, chips, salsa and homemade tortillas; your lunch includes one alcoholic drink (it could be non-alcoholic, if wanted) and your lunch tip. Rest assured that if you're allergic to seafood or simply not into it, we can accommodate your change with other delicious dishes (e.g., Carne Asada or Grilled Chicken).
After that, at 1:15 pm, we'll visit with our first winery stop. We'll take you to Decantos Vinicola. This winery offers fantastic landscape views and there you'll enjoy four different varieties of wines.
The next stop is Kruger La Doble T Winery at 3:30 pm, a beautiful rustic wine house where you'll get to taste their four different wines while enjoying delicious plate of your choice from the head, master chef, Iker Terrcot. Choices are all mouth watering good: Vegetarian Tacos, Steak Tacos or Fresh Fish Ceviche Tostadas.
Everything above is included!
At 5:30 pm we head back to the border, with an estimated arrival by 7:15 pm to customs, meaning that you'll be back in the USA approximately 7:45 pm. We use the pedestrian cross and its usually 10 minutes to 45 minutes.
We are so excited to spend part of your weekend with you! Thanks for joining us, community is what it's all about.
