We recommend this workshop for ages 5–13, but it’s open to all children who would enjoy decorating cookies!”

Do parents who are not decorating cookies need a ticket?

They do not need to purchase a ticket, but we do ask that you add a guardian ticket to your order so we can get a head count.

What can parents do during the event?

We ask that you do stay and supervise your child, but feel free to explore all that the bakery has to offer.

Who will be teaching the workshop?

Kerrin Hightower has been creating cakes for more than 20 years, starting with her own kids’ birthday cakes and growing into one of the most talented cake makers in the area. Today, she leads the Loblolly Bakery cake program.

Sweet holiday fun! Little bakers decorate cookies, enjoy festive treats, and bring home their delicious masterpieces!

Get your little ones in the holiday spirit at our Christmas Cookie Workshop! Each child will receive six freshly baked cookies to decorate with festive icings, sprinkles, and toppings — guided by Cakes by Kerrin in a fun, hands-on tutorial.

Kids will leave with beautifully decorated cookies (and the skills to decorate Santa’s cookies on Christmas Eve 🎅).
