LO North Coast | King Tides Nature Walk

Join us on an easy 2 mile nature walk along the Noyo Headlands trails and go see the King Tides. The King Tides are a phenomenon that only happens twice a year when the waves are at their highest. Learn about the tides, climate change, and the ways we can keep track of the sea level rise through photography. We will provide a hot beverage (hot chocolate and coffee) to keep us warm through the cold and a light lunch will be provided. All ages are welcome!

RSVP Required. Please be sure to look out for a confirmation email after you register and fill out the required participation waiver.

BRING THE FOLLOWING:

• Comfortable closed toed shoes and warm clothing or layers.

• Bring your own mug, water bottle, and snacks!

Únase a nosotros en una caminata en la naturaleza fácil de 2 millas a lo largo de los senderos de Noyo Headlands y vaya a ver las Mareas Reyes. Las Mareas Reyes son un fenómeno que solo ocurre dos veces al año cuando las olas están en su punto más alto. Aprenda sobre las mareas, el cambio climático y las formas en que podemos realizar un seguimiento del aumento del nivel del mar a través de la fotografía. Proporcionaremos una bebida caliente (chocolate caliente y café) para mantenernos calientes durante el frío y un almuerzo ligero. Todas las edades son bienvenidas!
