Shuttle information

If you are arriving in Terminal 1, proceed to lower level baggage claim area and then to Exit 18.

If you are arriving in Terminal 2, proceed to lower level baggage claim area and then to Exit 15.

Hotel shuttles run every 20 minutes starting at the top of each hour continuously.

If you require a shuttle with a wheelchair lift, please contact the hotel directly at 314-423-9700 at least 15 minutes in advance to request a handicap enabled shuttle. Please provide your arrival time and airline.

FAQs

Will meals be provided?

Registration includes a light reception on Friday evening, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and lunch on Saturday. Details regarding the meals will be posted closer to the conference. In order to keep costs down, beverages will include water, iced tea, hot tea and coffee. There is a coffee shop and restaurant located in the hotel.


Can I bring a friend/spouse/family member?

Absolutely! This meeting is open to all who are interested in Lipedema and Dercum's Disease. Registration fees apply to all guests.


What are my transportation/parking options getting to the event?

The hotel offers a complimentary handicap accessible shuttle from the airport.

Can I pay by check?

Checks must be received no later than March 31. You will be required to remit payment at the door if your "check is in the mail." (We will return any checks received after the conference.)

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No need to bring a printed ticket. We will have your registration information. However, we do suggest you print a copy for your records.

What is the refund policy?

Ticket sales are nonrefundable. If you are unable to attend, please consider donating your ticket back to FDRS. We have a waiting list for those who are unable to attend due to financial reasons. Please e-mail info@fatdisorders.org to donate your ticket.


May I record the meeting?

The conference will be professionally videotaped and be available at no charge for conference attendees. As such, no video or audio taping (including but not limited to phones, video cameras, or any other recording devices) is permitted during the conference.


What if the registration fee is out of my budget?

FDRS does not want financial hardship to keep anyone from attending our annual conference. As such, we are pleased to announce a limited number of financial hardship scholarships to offset registration fees for the 2016 FDRS conference in St. Louis, Missouri. To apply, please complete the following document: Financial Hardship Application and e-mail the completed application to info@fatdisorders.org The application is designed to complete electronically, save to your computer, and attach it to an e-mail.
