Event description
Atrial Fibrillation, or Afib, is the most common type of heart rhythm disorder, affecting almost 3 million Americans.

About this Event

The Living with Atrial Fibrillation Patient Fair is for patients living with Atrial Fibrillation, their families and caregivers. There will be free parking available for attendees.

The Living with Atrial Fibrillation Patient Fair aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Afib and it's management to patients diagnosed with this disorder. At this free public event, world-renowned cardiologists, arrhythmia specialists and anticoagulation experts from Brigham Health will gather to deliver informative talks and presentations on a wide range of topics that relate to managing this common heart rhythm disorder.

Talks will address the various treatment strategies for Afib, including the role of blood thinning medications and catheter ablation. Speakers will also discuss how nutrition, weight management and even integrative therapies, such as yoga, can positively impact Afib. Attendees will be able to interact with heart rhythm specialists to discuss common concerns and address questions.
