Description

Are you or a loved one living with a Chronic Condition?

Clackamas County Social Services is offering a free six week workshop series in Oregon City on how to feel your best when living with a chronic condition. Participants will meet Wednesdays, from 1:00pm – 3:30 pm, once a week for six weeks starting January 10 and ending February 14, 2018 and will be held at the Pioneer Center, 615 5th St. in Oregon City.

The workshop series will provide you with tools to manage your own condition. Facilitators do not give advice, rather we share techniques & tools to help you find hope and useful options for feeling better while living with your condition.

Participants learn self-management techniques to fight fatigue, problem solve, make decisions, develop action plans, eat wisely and manage stress, as well as ways to improve communication with family and health care providers. Advocating for yourself is essential. This course will help you gain skills and confidence to better self-manage your health and outlook on life! Caregivers welcome. Participants will receive a free Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions book and relaxation CD to support your continued journey to wellness.
