Event description

Description

Join us for this thought-provoking and inspirational lecture series as we explore current issues of human health and the environment. In October, Laura Lafayette, Chief Executive Officer of Richmond Association of Realtors and Executive Director of Partnership for Affordable Housing, presents Affordable Housing and Health Equity. Safe, decent, affordable and stable shelter is an essential element in our quality of life—as individuals, families, and communities. Affordable housing is the foundation upon which choice and opportunity—locational, educational and vocational—rests. If we want to build and maintain healthy communities, we must pay attention to housing. A reception will be held at 6:30 pm followed by the lecture at 7 pm.

Living Ethics is presented by the Bon Secours Virginia Health System and the Science Museum of Virginia.

Other lectures in the series are on September 20 and November 15.
