Living Energy: A Living Future Ramp-up Event
Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (HST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Net Zero Energy buildings have rapidly captured the public imagination, and are transforming expectations for the pace of change in the built environment. Earlier this month, San Francisco hosted the Net Positive Conference and highlighted a handful of the region’s most advanced buildings. To achieve Net Zero, we will look at how both building envelopes and occupant behavioral changes can influence performance and maximize efficiency.
Hear from energy experts Erica Dunn, a local architect and 2012 Van Evera Bailey Fellow, and Nathan D. Young, a local high performance builder, as we explore the latest in zero energy ideas, technologies and applications. Join energy specialists and industry peers for a networking hour featuring locally made beverages and a chance to tour the June Key Delta Center, a registered Living Building Challenge project.
Help celebrate our second Ramp-up Event for the Living Future ‘14 unConference AND a kick off to the upcoming Passive House Conference by joining us for this free event!
Doors open: 5:00pm
Networking & Tour of June Key Delta Center: 5:00-6:00pm
