Event description

Description

Won’t you join us for a weekend in the wilderness where we can explore what it means to Live a Brave Life. One where you show up authentically and whole-heartedly.

One where you guide your daughter into the next phase of her journey in becoming authentically who she was designed to be?

As adolescent girls – their task is a big one:

To learn how to become the person they were designed to be. And to develop their gifts and strengths, while shoring up the places they struggle.

Our job as mothers is to help guide them in this process.

But we can’t lead them anywhere we haven’t gone ourselves. This retreat will cast a vision, ignite inspiration, and provide time for celebrating and investing in this precious relationship with your daughter.

Our weekend retreat is rooted in the ground-breaking work of Dr. Brené Brown on what it means to live a whole-hearted life, grounded in values and integrity.

Together, you and your daughter will learn what it means to Live BRAVE:

B- with BOUNDARIES & the Courage to speak your truth
R- with RESPECT & Non-judgment of others
A-With AUTHENTICITY & transparency
V- with VALUES & purpose
E- believing you are ENOUGH and WORTHY of love and belonging

We’ll have time for small group learning with thought provoking videos, discussions and practical exercises. We’ll provide the tools and time for guided conversations with your daughter, and time to just hang out together in the woods. Making memories and sharing stories. Creating bonding moments that just don’t happen in the everyday.

Meet Your Facilitators

Amy Paulson MSW, Certified Leadership coach and “teen pied piper extraordinaire,” will provide the structured learning and fun exercises for “your girls”.

Cynthia Benge MSW- LMHC and certified Brené Brown Facilitator will lead the “Moms” in small group learning sessions and guided discussions.

Don't Miss this Unique Opportunity for Both You and Your Daughter

It seems an extraordinary miracle that we are given the opportunity to walk alongside our children as they develop and navigate who they were created to be.

Step out of your busy schedules, carpools, and daily distractions, and invest in a once in a lifetime experience. An opportunity to develop a shared language and a roadmap to navigate the years to come, together.

These are precious years and they fly by. Soon she will have her eyes focused elsewhere. But for now, this is an opportunity that will create a bond and shared memories neither of you will forget.

These tender years of middle school function as a rite of passage for our daughters as they step into womanhood. They need to hear our voices clearly cheering them on and believing in them as they face the challenges of daily life as a teen in our world. And they need the skills to face the myriad of choices and experiences that will come their way.

Won't you join us in helping to develop a roadmap and a series of guideposts for her journey AND start your tradition of “weekend get-aways” with your daughter?
