Dress to impress!!..and come out for an evening of fun while donating to a cause!
"Living Behind the Mask" Masquerade Ball is a fundraiser event to bring awareness to a health issue that a large percentage of women go through and experience after having a baby which is PPD (postpartum depression).
PPD is a health issue and illness that can affect a woman's mental and physical health and one that many moms silently suffer through because of fear of being ostracized and fear of losing their child. Studies have suggested that one of the primary causes is hormonal imbalances that occur during childbirth that do not return to normal naturally but PPD is totally treatable. There are mild cases of PPD to the more severe and a large majority of mothers survive it but some don't. This fundraiser can help to educate the public about this debilitating illness for both new moms who have never heard of it and are not even aware of the signs and symptoms, and to the general public as well. Help me in bringing more awareness to PPD and in helping to save lives!
