Did you know According to the 2015 Fatality report in Georgia 62,000 children were on the scene of domestic violence during 2010-2014. This is only what was reported. Please help us reach our goal short term goal of raising $150,000.

Rose of Sharon Transitional Living for Women Inc. mission is to serve women and children of the Greater Metro Atlanta Area. Our first priority is to supply a safe haven to women and children of Domestic Violence and Homelessness through support, restoration, hope, empowerment, advocacy, education while equipping them to become self-sufficient survivors. To improve the socioeconomic status of women and children, who have been historically identified as disadvantaged citizens. Promoting self-esteem and self image that fosters character building and self worth.
Our visionRose Of Sharon Transitional Living for Women Inc., provides free crisis intervention and advocacy to victims of domestic and sexual violence, while working for the elimination of violence through education Our vision is to teach women and children to become healthy, balanced, educated, and poised while living in society free of drugs and alcohol and violence. Our vision is to make a difference in our community by setting attainable SMART goals for its program participates and staff. We strive to be guided by the voices of survivors; we work to create social change by addressing the root causes domestic violence. To work alongside the public and private sectors change. ROS provides emergency food and shelter individual support and support groups, therapy for child as well.
Our core values are courage, empowerment, respect, improvement, service, individuality and hope. Our beliefs are grounded in the fact that we are faith based and we esteem to promote trustworthiness while uplifting spirits through love without discrimination.
ROS is a non-profit organization primarily created to provide a secure shelter for battered women and their children. Our organization is committed to increase awareness about the growing problem of domestic violence in the Atlanta, GA . Rose of Sharon Transitional Living for Women Inc. provides free crisis intervention and advocacy to women with children that are victims of domestic violence while providing a safe haven for starting a new life. In addition, ROS will focus on working to eliminate violence against women and children through education and social change. Our primary services will include: crisis intervention, providing food, emergency/transitional shelter, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, intensive case management, counseling for victim/child, support groups, and maintaining a 24-hour crisis line. Clients will also benefit from workshops on financial planning, pre-employment training, life skills, drug & alcohol prevention and parenting skills.
