Living at the Lakes

Want to learn more about our local lakes?
Living at the Lakes is a three-class, free program, offered to all Polk County residents to share information on common lake questions. Join us for three, two-hour classes to hear from our local experts and get your questions answered. Space is limited and registration is required.
Living at the Lakes (LAtL) is a program offered in Polk County, Florida by Lakes Education/Action Drive (LE/AD) and UF IFAS Extension Polk County. View our flier here: http://www.le-ad.org/2015-flier.pdf
The intended audience for LAtL is residents living on or near a lake, residents who frequently use the lakes for recreation, or anyone interested in learning more about our local hydrology. Each session has a unique theme and features a long amount of discussion time. Presenters often explain their topic in twenty minutes and then open the floor for questions and discussion with the residents.
Session Dates: March 3, 5, and 10, 2015
Do I have to attend all three sessions?
While we recommend you attend all three sessions, it is not required. Each session provides new information that is important for residents in our community. You do not need to live lakefront to benefit from this information!
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. We'll have a printout of all those registered.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is plenty of parking available.
Will there be refreshments?
