About our Guest Speaker - Jack Diesing Jr.

Jack Diesing Jr. is an influential community leader committed to service and growth. As the President of CWS of Omaha Inc. since 1989; Jack carries on the tradition of this tournament held every spring in Omaha since 1950. His father Jack Diesing Sr. served as chairman of the CWS and formed the local organizing committee in 1967. This organization coordinates local Omaha civic support/local business involvement and general public-private cooperation in support of the College World Series experience in Omaha.

An Omaha native and graduate of Creighton Prep, Diesing earned a degree in engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and served abroad on Naval destroyers during the Vietnam War. Setting his professional sights, he returned to Omaha and secured a foothold in the commercial insurance industry. For 27 years, Diesing served with Aon Risk Services of Nebraska.
