TRUE (Total Resource Use Efficiency) - Presented by USGBC WNC and Waste Cap

On April 10, join us as we take a first look at one of USGBC's newest Market Transformation Tools: TRUE.

The TRUE Zero Waste certification system enables facilities to define, pursue and achieve their zero waste goals, cutting their carbon footprint and supporting public health.

TRUE is a whole systems approach aimed at changing how materials flow through society, resulting in no waste. TRUE encourages the redesign of resource life cycles so that all products are reused and promotes processes that consider the entire lifecycle of products used within a facility. With TRUE, your facility can demonstrate to the world what you’re doing to minimize your waste output!

Please join us to see how TRUE Zero Waste certification works for facilities, and learn what it takes to become a TRUE Advisor. TRUE does not require big financial investments. TRUE implementation can be as simple as transforming trash bins into recycling bins and fostering a zero waste culture.

This will be an in-person lecture in Milwaukee with a LIVE broadcast to others in our West North Central Region.

Following the presentation will be a brief introduction to the kick off for the USGBC West North Central TRUE Collaborative group.
