About this event
Join us for a first-ever live recording of In the Moment, a new podcast from Religion of Sports hosted by David Greene, featuring 2x Olympic gold medalist and 2x FIFA Women's World Cup champion Carli Lloyd.
Live from House of Fútbol, former NPR Morning Edition host David Greene will sit down with Carli Lloyd to break down her iconic hat trick in the 2015 World Cup Final—the fastest hat trick in World Cup history. They’ll talk about that game, what it means to represent your country at the World Cup, and the pressure, and privilege, that comes from being a role model to millions.
At this event, you’re also invited to explore the rest of the House of Fútbol experience, which includes works chronicling the history of the World Cup, screenings of our favorite soccer films and other creator content, as well as interactive ways to examine why the sport is worshiped with religious fervor by the masses.
Water from Liquid Death and Red Bull will be served. Those 21+ can enjoy beer from 18th Ward Brewing, Dirty Shirleys, and wine.
