LIVE MUSIC: Jazz Night with Abe Mamet

Abe Mamet is a French horn player from Denver, CO. Jamie Sandel is a bass player from Silver Spring, MD. The duo met at the Capital Hill Jazz Festival in 2018 and have become inseparable since, performing electro-acoustic free music as part of their "LMB" duo, and delighting neighborhood audiences in Petworth with modern, groove-oriented jazz standards throughout the pandemic. The duo focuses on creating intimate space wherever they play, carving community out of small moments and inviting audiences to feel comfort and a sense of belonging within the music.
