Live Free or Die Cheating (LFoDC) is an annual Malifaux event in the New Hampshire area. This year we will be running a 1-day tournament and continue the tradition of hosting the event again at a Brewery in Manchester, New Hampshire. Formerly known as Milly’s Tavern, the rebranded Stark Brewery is located in the modernized historic Amoskeag Millyard and will host LFoDC. This event is a celebration of the miniature gaming hobby, getting together with like-minded people, and enjoying good food and beverages. All ages are welcome (just remember to bring your valid ID if you want to drink).
The event will host a unique painting competition (see rules packet), 3 rounds of Gaining Grounds 2016 Malifaux (regardless of # of players), and an after-party in the main area of the brewery. There will be an opportunity for attendees (and spouses/significant others) to get a tour of the quaint Stark Brewery. You don’t want to miss this event!
We will be doing a loaded raffle / prize system, but trophies will also be handed out. See the rules packet for more information.
Widget Wizards is a sponsor of the event and will have a vendor table at the event to buy stuff, as well as will be providing a majority of the prize and tophies! Here is a preview of one of the items you can get in the pre-registration SWAG bag!
Pre-reg SWAG bags will also include other items, for example a choice of a Stark Pint glass or Snifter glass
From out of Town? Come for the Tournament, stay for the New England Scenery!
Fall in New England, and New Hampshire in particular, is quite a sight to see with the trees changing to beautiful fall colors. So why not make a weekend of it as Manchester, NH has various hotels within walking distance of the venue for your convenience. Manchester also has a very convenient airport within 10 minutes of downtown Manchester and the LFoDC venue/hotels. Not to mention there are a slew of local bars and upscale (and low-scale) restaurants to visit while in town. And of course Stark Brewing will be offering its full menu during the event.
Reserve your spot today!
This event is NON-REFUNDABLE due to the deposit required on the location.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
No there is not age limit, but it is a brewery so all local laws will be followed for the consumption of any alcoholic beverages, please plan accordingly
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The venue is within walking distance (or taxi service) from most major hotels in the area. If you are driving your own car, there is free parking in the Stark Brewing parking lot located behind the Mill building that Stark is located in. The parking lot is closest to the river. There is also metered parking next to the Brewery but you should be able to utilize the free parking on the day of the event.
