Live Event: Rewire Your Brain and Body for Peak Performance
With David Bach, MD
6:00 pm - Registration
6:30 pm - Presentation
1.5 CCEUs (Core Competencies 0.375 / 1.125 Resource Development)
Scientists have been fascinated with the study of human peak performance for over 60 years, but during the past decade, the science of peak performance has exploded. We now understand, in great depth, what happens to our brains and bodies when we operate in a peak performance or flow state. This, in turn, has dramatically expanded our understanding of how we can profoundly rewire our brains and bodies for optimized performance.
By the end of the evening you will walk away with:
- Specific approaches to disable and rewire neural pathways, and how these strategies are been used to radically enhance human performance (e.g., giving sight to the blind, and increasing IQ).
- How the principles behind rewiring science can be used in your day-to-day life to enhance productivity, energy levels and health.
- Neurological and physiological characteristics associated with peak performance and why they matter to you.
David Bach, MD, is a Harvard-trained neuroscientist and Founder and President of The Platypus Institute, a New York City-based research and training institution focused on the question of how neuroscience can be practically applied to radically enhance cognitive functioning and the human experience.
Prior to founding The Platypus Institute, David was a serial entrepreneur having started three successful businesses, venture capitalist, management consultant, scientist, physician, martial artist, and professional cellist.
After spending a decade maximizing his physical and mental performance, Dr. Bach created The Platypus Institute to bring scientific rigor to, and create commercial applications in the rapidly expanding arena of applied neuroscience.
