LIU KANG ANNUAL LECTURE 2018

Join artist and historian Dr Lim Poh Teck in discovering key geographical backdrops in Liu Kang’s life in the region. Explore how these rich periods of his life inform the multicultural lenses which influenced his art.

This event is the opening lecture of Art in Singapore: Evoking a National Art, a day of exciting programmes looking at Singapore art in the National Gallery Singapore's changing exhibitions and permanent galleries, as Singapore celebrates its 53rd year of independence. ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr Lim Poh Teck is a historian and award-winning local artist. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
