Description

It’s Summer Camp time!

Synergy is proud to offer an exciting summer day camp experience for your child that is as educational as it is fun! It is sure to be a safe, positive, and motivational camp adventure where your child will obtain improved physical fitness as well as a better understanding of self-defense and personal safety.

*This camp is open to kids with no prior experience! In fact, it will be a great starter program for those interested in self-defense training.

June Camp

6/26/17 to 6/30/17 (Monday through Friday)

2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Children ages 5-12 welcome; 4 year-olds are accepted on a case-by-case basis (depending on their ability to focus and not distract other camp attendees).

Healthy snacks and bottled water will be provided for all attendees.

The kids will get a great work out while learning to defend themselves by practicing real world self-defense techniques. They will also learn about personal and family safety through structured discussions as well as game and craft-based learning activities.

Our summer camp was designed to help children deal with bullying, intimidation, peer pressure and other situations common to their age groups, as well as to help (read: listen to) their parents in family self-defense and home invasion scenarios.

Registration options:

Early Bird - $99.00

If registered by 11:30 pm CST on 6/16/17; child also receives a free summer camp t-shirt

General Registration - $115.00

If registered after 11:31 pm CST on 6/16/17

Additional information:

Self-defense practice teaches children discipline, focus, and respect. It teaches them to be aware of themselves and their surroundings, to think things through, to show courtesy, and to stand up for what is right.

Self-defense also teaches diplomacy and harmony. It teaches them de-escalation and that violence is only to be used as a last resort.

Topics covered at the camp include:

  1. Responsibility and accountability when using physical self-defense.
  2. Recognizing a threat.
  3. Avoiding a potential threat by anticipating what could happen.
  4. Dealing with the threat when attacked verbally or physically.
  5. Distinguishing between when to use avoidance techniques, verbal techniques and when to use force.

We offer an amazing combination of conflict resolution, self-defense, life skills, and lots of fun!
