LITTLE MUSIC MAKERS IS A DOWNINGTOWN BASED PARENT (OR CAREGIVER)/CHILD MUSIC PROGRAM DESIGNED TO TEACH CHILDREN ABOUT THEIR ABCS, NUMBERS, SEASONS AND MORE THROUGH INTERACTIVE MUSIC ACTIVITIES. WE USE MOVEMENT, SCARVES, INSTRUMENTS AND MORE TO HELP CHILDREN DEVELOPMENT THE SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND SELF-REGULATORY SKILLS THEY NEED, WHILST BONDING WITH THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS AND PEERS.
Each week a new theme is selected for the class, and music is chosen based around this theme. Past themes have included: Trains, Under the Sea, Bugs and Insects and more! Music choices include a mixture of nursery rhyme classics (for example, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star), children's music (such as C is for Cookie) and pop culture or Broadway song choices (for example Here comes the Sun by the Beatles). Each class is 45 minutes long.
