The Little Boy Who Hated Jazz comes to New York City for International Jazz Day.

About this Event

On Thursday, April 20, 2020 in honor of National Jazz Appreciation Month and in celebration of UNESCO's International Jazz Day the Skipp Pearson Jazz Foundation will bring its Storytime Hour to New York City. Elementary school age children will have a chance to meet Bix Sydney Harper, The Little Boy Who Hated Jazz and be provided with a wonderful introduction to live Jazz music.

Young audiences will be treated to a multi-media storybook hour that includes a reader, live Jazz band and visual presentation. All students will be given the opportunity to interact and engage in self expression.
