With a nutrition expert and a kids cooking class, we will answer the question, “Can you truly raise a healthy child on a vegan diet?"
What We're About
Little Apples is a social, community-building event whose mission is to make plant-based eating accessible to all families and create a supportive environment to forge bonds. Each event includes an informational speaker or panel. Open to veg-curious through veg-for-life parents, parents-to-be, AND their little ones. Attendees will enjoy vegan bites, drinks, mingling, and kids’ play space at each event.

Laura Delhauer is a performer and plant-based culinary artist who has been collaborating with Marisa Miller Wolfson and Vegucated for the past four years, and is co-author of the forthcoming Vegucated cookbook.
Marisa Miller Wolfson is a mother of two and creator of the documentary Vegucated as well as co-author of the forthcoming cookbook, The Vegucated Family Table.

Karin Gibson is a registered dietitian (certified in Sweden) who currently lives in New York City where she runs her private practice, Grazing Greens. She specializes in plant-based diets and healthy eating during pregnancy and lactation, as well as how to raise healthy, well-nourished plant-based children. Karin earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and has a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from eCornell University. She is also a mom to a toddler and pregnant with her second baby. Follow @grazinggreens on Instagram for daily updates from her plant-based lifestyle.
