Description

Join us for an evening in conversation with Susan Orlean on her latest release, The Library Book. Hosted by EPL's Pilar Martinez.

Weaving her lifelong love of books and reading into an investigation of the devastating 1986 fire at the Los Angeles Public Library, award-winning New Yorker reporter and New York Times bestselling author Susan Orlean delivers a mesmerizing and uniquely compelling book that tells a broader story of libraries and librarians in a way that has never been done before.

Tickets are $15 in advance through Eventbrite, $20 at the door, subject to availability.

This event is presented in partnership with Simon & Schuster Canada, EPL, and Audreys Books.

She is the author of seven books, including Rin Tin Tin, Saturday Night, and The Orchid Thief, which was made into the Academy Award–winning film Adaptation.
