The Three Village Historical Society’s Bust Trip to Litchfield, CT, Litchfield History Museum

Saturday, November 9, 2019, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Join our guide and TVHS Historian, Bev Tyler, as we visit the Litchfield Historical Society Museum. The town’s history spans the Revolutionary War through the Colonial Revival and into the Modern Movement. It is also home to the Litchfield Law School, America’s first law school, opened in 1784.

*BENJAMIN TALLMADGE COLLECTION: An exploration of the objects and archives the Tallmadge Collection, including his Revolutionary War letters, papers from life in Litchfield, and portraits.

**Walking Tour: Heroes of the Revolution: A walking tour on the role that Litchfield played during the Revolution, with particular emphasis on Benjamin Tallmadge and his unit, the 2nd Continental Light Dragoons.
