Hit the road with Lit Crawl NYC for a fun-filled, all-day literary excursion—to a fabulous garden party (replete with a reading and free cocktails) at the Edith Wharton Estate in Lenox, MA!
To celebrate the launch of its new Restless Women Travelers series of classic and contemporary travel narratives written by women, Restless Books has planned the perfect summer party at Edith Wharton's gorgeous estate in the Berkshires.
Since we know that getting to the Berkshires can be a trial, Lit Crawl NYC has chartered a bus so we can make a day of the adventure -- and take 50 friends along.
We’ll set out Sunday morning, with readings and our usual cerebral mayhem en route. We arrive in Lenox with time for a leisurely lunch and a guided tour of Edith Wharton’s personal estate, The Mount, before the evening’s festivities: a lively conversation followed by sunset cocktails.

About Lit Crawl NYC
Lit Crawl is a bar crawl, with literature! A madcap concept first created by San Francisco’s Litquake literary festival back in 2008, the inaugural Lit Crawl NYC took place in September 2008 and has grown into a lively, wildly popular annual event, now with a second crawl in Brooklyn.
Lit Crawl NYC is a project of the Litquake Foundation. San Francisco’s Litquake runs 10 days every fall, with annual Lit Crawls in San Francisco, New York City, Brooklyn, Austin, and Seattle.
