What LIT Participants Can Expect
- Attending the LIT Conference at Miles College will prepare young adults (ages 18-35) to gain clarity regarding who God is calling them to be and where God is calling them to serve.
- Intentionally increase an ecosystem of support for African Americans and racially diverse young adults to consider answering a call to holistic leadership.
- Participants will experience increased interest and relevant training to respond to social justice needs and holistic leadership development within their respective context.

Ministry My Way: How to Develop Your Authentic Spiritual Identity | Leon F. Parker, III
The Spiritual Wellness session will empower transformational leaders to discover methods of spiritual formation, identify the culture of call and purpose, as well as cultivate a balanced life. This session will explore theological and biblical principles of leadership. Transformational leaders who have a gift and interest in pastoring, pastoral care, Christian counseling, campus ministry, Christian education or vocations in lay or ordained leadership should consider this workshop.
In Case of Anxiety: Faith Focused Approaches to Managing Your Mental Health | Dacari Middlebrooks
Emotional and Mental Wellness session will discover the choices and practices that are essential in emotional and mental wellness in an often hyper and post-traumatic society. Spiritual disciplines of prayer, bible study, and service can help accelerate, fortify and confirm a Christian’s faith. This session will also include the use of theological and therapeutic methods to meet holistic wellness and self-care for transformational leadership.

Financial Wellness session will explore the possibilities of government contracting and how to generate revenue and do good in the world. This session will empower transformational leaders to discover how their faith and business acumen align, explore best practices for building and sustaining a business, develop strategies for proven leadership and economic impact.
Faithful & Fit: Spiritually Led Choices for Transforming Your Physical Health | Derrick Hill
Physical Wellness session will discover the choices and practices that are essential in physical and fit wellness in an often unhealthy environment. Eating well, consistent exercise and rest can help accelerate, fortify and confirm a Christian’s faith and fitness. This session will also include the use of biblical and fitness methods to meet holistic wellness and self-care for transformational leadership.

The LIT Immersive Worship Experience cultivates transformational and dynamic worship through music, the arts, dance and inspirational preaching and teaching.
