Event description

Description

Within each of us there is a radiant source of wisdom, innately recognizing that which is true and good. Learning to listen to that inner voice and act accordingly takes practice, however - so here to guide us are Abhaijot, a Kundalini yogini, and Bhante Suddhāso, a Buddhist monk. Through alternating periods of Buddhist meditation and Kundalini yoga, we'll spend the weekend getting in touch with our own innate wisdom.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS:

Abhajot Kaur has always had a deep passion for yoga, a born healer and spiritual junkie she started practicing 21 years ago and never stopped. The union of the mind, body, and soul has helped her throughout her life live in a more compassionate heart filled abundant way. Her biggest joy in yoga has always been the Bhakti (devotion) of it. It was no wonder that through Bhakti her Shakti (essence of bliss) was revealed and that was Kundalini Yoga. Countless workshops with the great masters, Guru Dev Singh, Gurmukh, and devotional chanting with Gurunam eventually lead her to India for her Kundalini Teachers Training through Golden Bridge Yoga with Gurmukh, Gurushabd, Guru Dharam, and Guru Dev Singh followed with traveling the sacred land with her dear friend Gurunam. It was through Kundalini that Abhaijot was able to develop her born healing abilities to help others. Abhaijot is honored to serve others through the technology of Kundalini Yoga. She is presently in advanced training of Kundalini Yoga Therapy with her teacher Guru Dharam, and a Teacher Assistant with Golden Bridge NY Teacher Training, Khalsa Way Certified Teacher, Radiant Child Yoga Teacher, Sat Nam Raysan Level 1 Healer and a Reiki Practitioner. Abhaijot serves the community of inner city women and teens with Kundalini Yoga at Oasis A Safe Haven for Women and Children in Paterson, NJ. Abhaijot’s love affair and gratitude for Kundalini and all of its teachings continues to embody her heart, life and classes with healing love, depth, transformation, abundance, and light. www.iheartkundaliniyoga.com
