Listening to Nature Part 2: Integrating Field Recordings
Our journey continues into the wonderful sounds of nature. We delve deeper into listening and organizing the sounds we collected in the field. This class serves as an introduction for those just getting started with sampling field recordings, equalizing recordings and creative processing of sounds captured in the field.
Students will learn about stereo imaging, basic editing of waveforms, filtering, and creative manipulation of field recordings within a digital audio workstation.
This class is customized to the needs of the students. Some of the core topics include:
1. Stereo imaging and layering field recordings.
