During Atlanta Streets Alive West End, when septuagenarians rode alongside 7-year-olds safely, comfortably, and with confidence, more people are biking in the neighborhood. Community members are asking - how can we make that safe bicycling experience more widespread and a mainstream means of transportation in Atlanta? Are safe routes for everyone important to you?
ABC invites the community to a listening session to hear ideas and concerns about biking, and talk about the potential for complete streets that are safe for people using all kinds of transportation modes.
Come share your thoughts and find out more about the potential to retrofit Lee Street into a bikeable, walkable boulevard everyone can use.
Thursday, November 13 from 6-8 pm at Fire Station 14 in the Community Room at 1203 Lee St. SW Atlanta, Ga. Children welcome; dinner provided.
