We are meeting outside the Weyside Pub.
This sociable evening walk takes place at the start of the new school term and starts at 6pm and we will return to the Weyside Pub at 7.30pm to quench our thirst.
This walk is an opportunity to meet and walk and talk with others and to explore the beautiful countryside on our doorstep. Phil will guide us and explain some of the geology, geography and history the landscape, as well as some of the science behind why walking supports networking, our cognition and our wellbeing.
The walk explores the pleasantly hilly scenery in the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We will cross the River Wey and head up the Mount and take in the wonderful views of Guildford Cathedral and beyond. Phil will take us on an interesting walk returning to the Weyside for a drink and a to discuss the question he will have set us at the start of the walk!
The walk will be led by Phil Banfield of VentureField, who facilitate businesses and people to develop and achieve more through consulting, learning and development and coaching.
