He is a sought-after expert on the subject of using LinkedIn for media relations, personal and professional branding, and how to use social media to build business contacts. He’s addressed conferences in Canada, Australia and throughout the United States.

Bob Coppedge

Bob has been in the IT profession since 1977, when he first began writing application programs for Ohio Scientific Instruments, located in Hiram Ohio.  Since then, he has sat in about every seat in the IT world, including:

  • Owner of Simplex-IT for 7 years.
  • CIO (Chief Information Officer) for Patio Enclosures Inc for 14 years.
  • Data Processing Manager for the City of Cleveland Heights, Ohio for 6 years.
  • Independent IT Consultant

His functional experiences include development (including .Net, Visual Foxpro), Server applications (SQL, Exchange, SharePoint), and Network implementations (Active Directory, Novell).  His application experiences are equally varied, including Manufacturing (MRP and some ERP), CRM, Medical Insurance, Quality Control, Business Process and Accounting.  He is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer, and has trained personnel from companies like the Cleveland Clinic, Progressive Insurance to single-person IT shops.

Jim Ray

Jim formed Neuse Networks in 1997 and specializes in managed services to remotely automate IT maintenance and to take IT labor out of the equation. He focuses on combining conventional client/server technologies with virtualization, mobility, and cloud technologies to implement computer networks for voice, video and data. His education includes Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from NC State. Senior Member, IEEE.
