Event description

Description

Were you born between 1946 and 1964? Are you ignoring the relentless urge to slow down, or resisting retirement, different than your contemporaries? Are you planning a career change, career transition, midlife career change, semi-retirement, and/or just need second career ideas? You’re probably a little uneasy and wondering: How easy is it to make a career change in your later years? What technologies do you have to be adept at, to stay competitive in the job market? How can you demonstrate more relevance in a youth-oriented society?

In this third “branding” session, presenter Marc W. Halpert, a self-described multi-preneur and LinkedIn Trainer and Evangelist, will discuss the not-so-easy answer to these questions. He states that the bottom line is that you must articulate your hard-earned expertise and impress the prospective employer in order to find that next position. You’ve heard a lot about LinkedIn, the preeminent currency of business hiring and network brand marketing today, but how do you master it for your needs? What techniques can you optimize on LinkedIn to be most successful? This workshop, designed specifically for Baby Boomers, will emphasize how to best brand yourself on LinkedIn to stand out from the competition.

In all Marc’s LinkedIn training and coaching he offers people the opportunity to better explain their brand and positioning on their LinkedIn profile pages: who they really are and why them vs. the competition. He is the author of numerous articles on innovations using the latest LinkedIn techniques for self-branding. He is the author of two books on LinkedIn.
