Lindow Moss Family Fun Day

Come join us for a day filled with family fun at Lindow Moss!

We are hosting a family day on Lindow Moss on the 31st August!

Cheshire Wildlife Trust will have games and acitivities for children as well as details about memeberships.

Mersey Rivers Trust will be on hand to educate and show children what is living in the rivers and streams nearby.

Friends of Lindow Moss will be running a treasure hunt and a competition in which you can win some prizes.

The local moth group are bringing moths that they have caught.

They'll be nature based crafts and games too!

Who is this suitable for?

All ages! Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by and adult.

Where should I park?

We'd ask you to walk in if possible. If you are driving, please park sensibly as not to annoy our neighbours.

Whats on offer?

Nature walks, pond dipping, games, natured based crafts and the chance to see some moths and butterflies!

Can i bring a picnic?

Sure! There is no formal seating, but plenty of grass to sit on.

The Lindow Moss Landscape Partnership is a collective that are committed to working together in order to conserve, restore and interpret the wider Lindow Moss Landscape for the benefit of nature, the climate and people. A ‘bottom-up’ partnership driven by the local community, the Lindow Moss Landscape Partnership consists of Transition Wilmslow, the Friends of Lindow Moss, the parish councils of Wilmslow, Chorley, Mobberley and Great Warford, Cheshire East Council, Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Mersey Rivers Trust and Groundwork CLM.
