Lincolnshire Game Developers
Welcome to Lincolnshire Game Developers!
If you make video games, board games, or any other kind of game, you are welcome, even if you haven't released anything yet. I have met a few people locally in differing game making roles, so this is to get us together, and hopefully find many more people.
This is intended as a friendly casual event to share experiences and build a supportive group to help grow games development in the area, and so it isn't a lonely experience making games away from the industry hotspots. This is a monthly event on the last Thursday of the month (except December as the pub will be closed on Christmas Day, and will see how much interest there is over the summer).
The plan is to start at 6pm so people can come along early if they need to get a train or bus home that means they cannot stay late, but it is OK to arrive later.
We will be in the room upstairs at the Cardinal's Hat. Turn left after you enter the pub, the stairs are on the right after the first archway. There will be a (small) sign so you can find us, but it is not a big room. Don't be intimidated if you won't know anyone, we're friendly.
Please sign up so we have an idea of how many people we can expect. If you cannot make this event, but would like to attend future events, please let me know (on here, or at Andy Cowe on LinkedIn).
As it is in a city centre pub in the evening, the event isn't suitable for children.
See you there!
