Description

You are invited to join us for a special event to commemorate the life and legacy of Ontario's first African Canadian Lieutenant Governor, Lincoln Alexander. He had Jamaican and St. Vincentian heritage, went to public school & high school in downtown Toronto, lived for a time in the U.S., was a veteran, a machinist, a lawyer and a politician (the first Black MP). January 21st has been declared as Lincoln Alexander Day since 2015.

This event will be held at the Duke of Cornwall (400 University Avenue, just south of Dundas St., Toronto) on Sunday January 20th, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Meet the members of the "Linc Committee"! Special guests will be in attendance!
