Limmud Seattle

Limmud Seattle (from the Hebrew word meaning "learning") is a celebration of Jewish culture and creativity, part of a global movement of volunteer-run, multi-denominational learning events in 44 countries worldwide inspired by the idea that everyone should be a student and anyone can be a teacher.

At Limmud there is room for every subject -- art, spirituality, philosophy, music, food, and more -- with multiple sessions every hour. Whether you want to participate in a discussion about Sephardic music, hear a panel on the Middle East or join a cooking workshop (all actual 2018 sessions!), there's something here for you. Sessions are run by educators, artists, academics, performers, experts and enthusiasts.

Limmud is a global community committed to unique principles and values -- including learning, teaching, volunteerism, diversity and respect -- and to harnessing the energy of the whole Jewish community, people of all ages, all religious affiliations and those with no affiliation. Come join us, as a participant, volunteer, presenter or all three! The best part of Limmud is making it happen.
