Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance Pesticide (LCLM) Training and Test...

Landscape maintenance workers who want to apply “Caution” labeled pesticides, including herbicides (such as Roundup) in ornamental beds and around the landscape, are required by law to be in possession of a Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services chapter 482 Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance (LCLM) license.
On Monday, April 24th, 2017, Indian River County Extension will be offering the certified 6-hour Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance Training workshop that is needed to obtain your 482 Limited Certification Landscape Maintenance pesticide license. Pre-registration is required. CEU's will also be provided.
Exam will be offered immediately after the training but it is not required; applicants must past with a 70% or better in or to obtain the license. If you are unsure about taking the test and would like to study more, exams can be scheduled to be taken at a later date. If you plan on taking the exam after the workshop, please bring the following:
-A COMPLETED LIMITED CERTIFICATION FOR COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL APPLICATION WITH ATTACHED 1.5"x1.5" PHOTO
-PROOF OF BUSINESS INSURANCE

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:3 p.m., Review and Test to follow immediately after training
Where: UF/IFAS Indian River County Extension Office, 1800 27th St., Bldg B, Room 501
Registration Fee: $50 (includes materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and snack), can pay on-line with credit card via EventBrite or in person on the day of the training with check, cash or money order. No credit cards can be taken on the day of training. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
