Lil Rev Concert

The Ludington Area Center for the Arts (LACA) is proud to announce that acclaimed ukulele performer Lil Rev will be performing at the center on Saturday, Apr. 1 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. They can be purchased online at EVENTBRITE or at Art Shop 107 by LACA.

Lil Rev, who has toured extensively throughout the Midwest, is known for his unique blend of old-time music and blues styles. He has been performing with the ukulele for over two decades and is a passionate advocate for the instrument.

In addition to his evening performance, Lil Rev will also be leading a workshop on Saturday afternoon from 1-2:30 p.m. The ‘Bluegrass & Country Styles For Uke’ workshop will feature instruction on strumming and basic fingerpicking, as well as banjo-style rolls and fingerpicking patterns. Students are required to bring their own ukulele, and registration is $40 for members and $45 for non-members. Workshop participants will receive a free ticket to the evening performance.
