Take a deep dive into the latest energy efficiency lighting and controls technologies

When facilities make smart choices with lighting and lighting controls equipment, they experience multiple benefits including energy savings, better light quality, and improved comfort. APS and the Arizona Chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) are offering this in-depth training on lighting and controls as part of our 2017 Energy Efficiency Technical Training series. Join us for insights into the latest advancements in lighting and lighting controls, from stand-alone systems to lighting management systems that use existing Wi-Fi networks. In addition, there will be a live dimming demonstration with real-time energy monitoring to show savings.

This full-day training will cover the following topics:

  • The basics: Examine the principals of lighting and lighting strategies
  • Equipment: Exploreemerging technologies, dimming LEDs and other types of luminaries
  • Technical specifications: Learn about stand-alone lighting control systems and whole-building lighting management systems
  • Optimization & efficiency: Understand daylight harvesting concepts and the energy-saving impact of dimming
  • Rebates: Review rebates related to lighting and lighting controls offered by APS
