Light The Way Foundation Fundraiser - Evening With Christopher Williams

Join Light The Way Foundation for a night of music, drinks, food, comedy, and dancing as we raise funds to support our youth enrichment programs. We are excited that nationally acclaimed recording artist/actor Christopher Williams and Comedian Chris Thomas are performing for such a worthy cause. Our Mistress of Ceremonies will be radio personality ASIA from MAJIC 102.3 FM.

Since 2016, LTWF has hosted a Summer Film Camp at Howard University and has awarded approximately $55k in scholarships to 110 deserving youth. The Summer Film Camp allows students to develop a documentary where they learn the film industry, how to make a documentary, scripting, editing, and how to use the camera and sound equipment. In 2022, The Dream Catcher received a nomination from IndieX Film Festival for Best Short Documentary.

Light the Way Foundation is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) organization that provides funding for youth with limited resources in DC, MD and VA, to participate in extracurricular activities. Our motto is "Opening Doors to a Brighter Future."

We believe activities are vital for youth development, as they help increase memorization, problem solving, and self pride. We believe these skills empower children to exude confidence and leadership, which make them better students and members of our society.
