With the dark nights upon us, November sees the return of the Castle’s monthly light painting and photography evenings.
Between 6 and 8.30pm, amateur and professional photographers are invited into the Keep – the Castle’s 12th century ‘great tower’ – for rare after-hours access.
Attendees are welcome to explore and take photographs at their leisure; although please beware that some spots, such as the rooftop and Chapel, can be extremely busy at times.
If you are new to light painting, a beginners’ workshop will take place in the Great Hall between 7 and 8pm.
Please bring yourselves, a camera, torch, tripod, shutter release and any lights you wish to use. The upper storeys of the Castle Keep, where this event takes place, are unfortunately inaccessible to wheelchair users.
