Light-Hearted Badge Workshop <3 with Jade Pughe

In this workshop, Jade will be teaching the basics of soft circuits and e-textiles by getting participants to create their own wearable light-up badges, inspiring people to explore the world of creative technology for themselves!

Jade (she/her), also known as Ardubabe, is a Graphic Designer and Creative Technologist based in North London who is inspired by the power of interactive and experiential design to create empathy and understanding between herself and her audience. Consistently, and ironically, women and marginalised genders have been overlooked despite their prevalent contributions to technology as we know it today. Therefore, using technology creatively is an act of rebellion. She furthers this rebellion by reclaiming technology as a tool for activism and social change, specifically tackling gendered issues, through an intersectional and cyberfeminist approach.
